Recording continues as we prepare for Free Tulsa this Friday and Saturday. We are playing McNellies at Midnight on Friday July, 29th. Come check it out!
On Saturday, July 16th, The Outset got together at the 1st street lofts in downtown Tulsa to record a live acoustic session and film a video. We spent several hours setting up during the 100-degree heat of the afternoon and met back up that evening with Justin Greiman, Tulsa-based photographer, for the session.
Here is a sneak peak at the audio from that set.

the outset launches their web debut
After much deliberation, road-tripping and thought experimentation we have decided on “the outset.” A name worthy of a Hemingway adventure and an expression of the journey we are beginning together as musicians and comrades. At this point we have launched a facebook page, twitter account and youtube channel. We hope to flood these social media giants soon with endless photos, videos and of course musical compositions.
So please, visit our facebook page, like us, and come see us at Free Tulsa, July 29th and 30th in the Blue Dome District.
